Clear answers for the beta

Do I need a payment card?

No. TargetChess has no active checkout and does not collect payment information. Opening the workspace starts the free beta.

Which games can TargetChess analyze?

You can import recent public Chess.com and Lichess games by username, or provide a PGN you have the right to use. Private platform games are not accessed automatically.

Where does the engine run?

Stockfish evaluates positions in your browser. When a review finishes, TargetChess stores a compact score and critical-move summary in your account.

Does TargetChess refresh games in the background?

Yes. A private updater checks connected public Chess.com and Lichess accounts every six hours, including while the dashboard is closed. Returning to the dashboard can also refresh stale accounts.

Will the beta always be free?

No pricing change has been announced. If paid plans are introduced later, this page will be updated before any billing is enabled.
