Browser-local engine analysis uses the unmodified WebAssembly and JavaScript files from stockfish.js 10.0.2, licensed under GNU GPL version 3. TargetChess does not send positions to a remote engine service.

Chess piece artwork
The board appearance picker includes five unmodified open-source piece sets from the Lichess artwork collection, pinned to a reviewed source revision. Chessnut is by Alexis Luengas under Apache 2.0; RhosGFX is dedicated to the public domain under CC0 1.0; Fantasy, Spatial, and Celtic are by Maurizio Monge under the MIT license.

Game data
The public catalog identifies its provider, snapshot, license, and attribution in the database interface. The historical Lichess Elite archive is handled under its declared CC BY-SA 4.0 terms; original standard-game exports are made available by Lichess under CC0.
